To the Editor:
As an alum of The Brown Daily Herald who went on to a career in journalism, I think your March 21 editorial, “Toward a better Herald,” is too defensive. As long as The Herald keeps reporting honestly on campus news, The Herald shouldn’t feel the need to prove to anyone that its heart is in the right place.
