Salomon Center was the home of my afternoon class: “Men’s Films,” a first-year seminar about masculinity in contemporary popular film taught by Professor Richard Rambuss. That class has been one of my very favorites from my time at Brown so far: The discussions were extremely interesting and the homework consisted of watching movies like “The Hangover and Deadpool.”
The team conceptualized a “microbial soup” of marine fungi that would break down the heavy metals from Printed Circuit Boards into nanoparticles, improving sustainability.
Brown went on a 15-0 scoring run at the start of the game with contributions by forward Mya Murray ’24, forward Amanda Latkany ’25, guard Kyla Jones ’24, guard Isabella Mauricio ’25 and guard Charlotte Jewell ’24.
The game against Harvard was tied 0-0 throughout the first two periods until team captain Tristan Crozier ’22 scored the first goal in the last period. In the final minutes of the third period, Michael Maloney ’22 scored, sealing the Bears’ victory.
