Committees to seek input on presidential search

The presidential search committees will host eight forums and four department chair meetings in the next two weeks as part of the search for the University‘s 19th president, Chung-I Tan, chair of the Campus Advisory Committee and professor of physics, said at yesterday's faculty meeting.

Humanities fund will open for faculty use

The University will use a $6.9 million fund containing multiple grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and an anonymous $3 million donation to promote collaborative teaching and research in the humanities and hire six faculty members, said Dean of the Faculty Kevin McLaughlin P'12.
