The Office of International Programs is considering a change in policy that would allow students to study abroad in countries that the U.S. State Department classifies as potentially dangerous for American travelers.
New York Times reporter Cornelia Dean '69 recalls being frustrated with the lack of exciting opportunities for women in the 1960s. "You felt like you never had a chance to do anything interesting because the guys would take it all," she said.
The Undergraduate Council of Students held internal elections for voting positions during its first general body meeting Wednesday night. Positions to be filled included nine at-large representatives, six executive board positions, Undergraduate Finance Board representative and webmaster.
