Indie rock outfit Wilco and rapper Common will play at Spring Weekend this year, Brown Concert Agency president Elizabeth Trongone '06 told The Herald.
Wilco will play inside Meehan Auditorium Thursday, April 20, while Common will perform on the Main Green Saturday, April 22.
Trongone said BCA sought to appeal to the diverse music interests of the student body. "We had a poll on WebCT, and both genres faired very well," she said. "We wanted to get very diverse acts."
"We were very lucky," she said. "They were both our first bids."
Each act will cost between $30,000 and $45,000, she said.
