Following their victory against Columbia last week, the Bears suffered a loss on Saturday against league champions Dartmouth at home. The team expressed optimism for the 2020 season.

Audrey Orange ’23 got off to a blazing start in the first swim meet of her collegiate career, winning two individual races and one relay. Though Brown was defeated by Yale 173-127, Orange won the 200 meter race in just 1:51.27 and finished the 500 meters in 4:56.88.

Despite an impressive performance by EJ Perry ’21, featuring a 50-yard touchdown rush, the Bears lost their 19th staight Ivy League game.

The football team took on in-state rival University of Rhode Island in its home opener Saturday, hoping to add on to its 73-28-2 record in the historic Governor’s Cup. But despite over 500 total yards from quarterback EJ Perry ’21, the Bears fell to the Rams in a 31-28 nailbiter.

Although the Bears registered nine shots on target, ten corner kicks and nine saves by Max Gross ’21, the Aztecs came away the 2-0 victors.
