Throughout the day, protestors circled Brown’s campus, Rhode Island Hospital and the State House, driving in trucks with flashing lights and billboards reading “Our Patients aren’t Pigs! Vote YES on H5357.”

Kaiolena Tacazon is the social media chief and a multimedia editor for photo, video and design. She's a sophomore from San Diego studying American Studies and Visual Arts who also works as a photographer for Brown University Athletics.

After the session concluded at 4 p.m., students and community members walked to Memorial Park, where some students spoke and led singing.
