Teacher shortages continue to strain PPSD

The Providence Public School District currently has 129 teacher vacancies, according to Maribeth Calabro, president of the Providence Teachers Union. These vacancies have been caused by various factors such as the COVID-19 pandemic, curriculum and certification requirements.

Buckle up: Food trucks roll onto campus

For the next two weeks, various local food trucks will be parked outside of Josiah’s starting at 6 p.m. each night. The new schedule began yesterday with Gnarly Vines Farm serving “farm to table Brazilian/American food,” according to an Instagram post from Brown Dining Services.
